It seems I freaked people out a little on Friday with a blog called “I have no core strength”. They took it as a cry for help. And it was … for my abs.
My sacrum has been playing up again following my double-handed baby chook splits injury (aggrevated by my bush turkey gardening injury), and the physio explained to me – as nicely as possible – that it would help if I built up my core strength, ie didn’t slouch around with my gut hanging out.
When I said:
I am trying to zip up my core.
And keep it zipped.
All. The. Time.
It’s so bloody hard.
Does it get any easier?
This is not a metaphor.
I meant it.
Yes, the past six months have had their freaking awful moments, but I’m not wobbly … right now … except in the spare tyre region.
But it’s lovely to know you care about my core, both muscular and metaphysical.
In other HouseGoesHome news …
I wondered if this was Our Last Santa Visit.
I yelled a lot at a stranger and blogged about it in a post called Going Postal.
And I bitched about the hell of your kids being on holidays when you’re not in What holiday???

These two brothers have had their photo taken with Santa for 34 years. The last few are epic: http://bit.ly/18J6Yf1
