Chris Brown: I’m forgiven
Chris Brown has opened up to The Mirror newspaper about his relationship with Rihanna and the night he assaulted her.
“Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals. That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. But she loves me – what can I say? I’m forgiven… but, yes, I worked hard for it.
“People attack me and criticise me, it happens all the time. But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me any more. Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything. I’ve learned a lot since that night and I’ve grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted. I didn’t understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through.”

Britney’s break-over
Britney Spears showed up fashionably late to Elton John‘s Oscar-viewing party on Sunday, sporting a new brunette ‘do, a sophisticated plunging-neckline dress, and natural-looking makeup.
That’s right – Britney got a breakover!
Naturally, a breakover is a makeover inspired by a breakup. (Not to be confused with “breakdown.” In Britney’s case, this is an important distinction.) For Spears, the new look is a double rebound; not only did she split from fiance Jason Trawick in January, but she also broke up with The X Factor. Historically, Spears doesn’t handle drama so well, so fans had been anxiously waiting for her to get back on her feet.
Thankfully, Sunday’s appearance at the super-exclusive charity party signals good things. The singer looked radiant and healthy. Her hair and makeup were relaxed and confident, while her dress walked the fine line between sexy and elegant. This was a deliberately put-together look, meaning that somebody is still looking out for Britney’s image now that Trawick is out of the picture.
We have to say, we’re loving this sophisticated new Britney!
There are other positive signs of change, too. She’s rumored to be in talks for a Las Vegas residency, which seems like a smart way for Spears to stay in control for a while. Plus, she’s got a new man: a non-show-biz guy named named David Lucado, who took her out for sushi on Valentine’s Day.
PS Jennifer Lawrence has a new brunette ‘do too! The day after the Oscars she headed to the hairdresser and emerged with dark brown locks, part of her preparation to play Katniss Everdeen in reshoots for the next Hunger Games movie.

How did Ben Affleck celebrate Argo winning Best Picture at the Oscars? He shaved his beard!
Ben was at a restaurant in Hollywood with wife Jennifer Garner and Argo co-producer George Clooney. Jen had taken clippers along and shaved him in the middle of the restaurant’s hallway!
Speaking to E! News, a source revealed that the father-of-three decided to get rid of the beard as a toast to new beginnings.
The insider said: ‘He did it to mark the end of a chapter. It had that ceremonial quality to it.’
Nicole’s such a princess
The first official images of Nicole Kidman in the upcoming biopic Grace of Monaco have been released.
She stars as legendary Hollywood beauty Grace Kelly who gave up her acting career for the royal throne when she married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco.
The 45-year-old portrays Grace between December 1961 and November 1962, when she was in her 30s trying to help her country during a time of political turmoil.
