My blogging comrade, www.graceanddignity.wordpress.com, devotes her site to things that make her grateful. It’s a beautiful concept, one that never fails to remind me of life’s many blessings. Today I am grateful to have a sister who is always there for me, despite me not always being there for her. She is my best friend and I do not deserve her patience and kindness. But I’m so glad to have it.

You would get that as grateful as I am for the nod, I am kicking myself it’s on the day I blog about bloody boiled eggs! Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for the eggs, and particularly today because I get to share them with my family when many don’t with theirs, but for newby’s landing on that, not knowing me … yegods!!! Oh, and I am sure your sister is grateful too, for the chance to be patient and kind to her best friend, knowing it’s what she needs right now. xx
