Walk with me

I can’t put into words how furious I am with the COVID protestors who effectively put us into lockdown for gawd knows how much longer with their “freedom” march on Saturday.

So I’m going to let The Shovel do it for me. You’ve probably seen the meme, it’s gone viral:

Hopefully COVID won’t do the same among the selfish protestors, who’ve decided to play Russian roulette with the lives of their families.

I was having the most lovely time on Saturday afternoon until I heard the stupid news. DD and I ambled from Newport Beach to Bungan Beach around the headland at low tide.

I took a few pictures, as I thought you might like to do the walk virtually with me. It was getting shadowy, so it was a bit tricky to get the lighting right. But here goes …

It was beautiful, I adored every minute. Though my hips aren’t thanking me for all the clambering I did over rocks.

Bungan Beach is so lovely. It’s only accessible via a narrow driveway, with no carpark, so it feels like a secret beach. I would looooooooooove to own a house that overlooked it.

I am also desperately wishing I could win the latest RSL Art Union house, which is at Palm Beach. That would be HEAVEN.

I have instructed DD to buy lots of tickets.

If he wins I plan to retire there immediately.

However, as I am both a dreamer and a realist, I have also lined up two job interviews today. They both sound very exciting. Wish me luck!

Hope your weekend wasn’t too shabby.
