It’s Oscars 2014 and my favourite part of the night is checking out all the candid pics the celebs take themselves – so I’ve declared my coverage selfie central …
I’ll be adding to the blog throughout the day/night (breaking over lunch for a Tupperware party … as you do in the suburbs).

The super selfie is now the most retweeted tweet ever — beating out President Obama’s “four more years” tweet from November 7, 2012, the night he was re-elected. She set the record less than an hour after posting the pic.
>> Ellen also tweeted this pic with Channing Tatum, captioned: “Look who I just found backstage.”
>> And another great photo op, this time with Leonardo Di Caprio and Sandra Bullock.
>> And this scary one with Liza Minelli, captioned: “#Besties #Oscars2014” (I wonder if it means Liza forgives Ellen for saying in her opening monologue: “I have to say one of the most amazing Liza Minnelli impersonators I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” pointing out Minnelli sitting in the audience next to sister Lorna Luft. “Good job, sir.”)
