Alannis’ nanny takes her to court
Alanis Morissette and her husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway are being sued by their former nanny Bianca Cambeiro.
According to court documents filed on Thursday, Bianca alleges the couple never paid her overtime or allowed her to take meal or rest breaks during her 12-hour shifts caring for their son Ever three to four days a week.
Bianca started working for the couple in August 2011 and was paid just $25 an hour! When she asked their accountant in January 2012 why she wasn’t being paid overtime, and he said, “We don’t do that.”
She also claims she wasn’t allowed to leave Ever’s bedroom while he was sleeping until and unless one of the parents were in the room or until the day shift nanny arrived to relieve her.

Weight Watchers has announced that Jessica Simpson is a spokesman for their brand again.
The singer first signed up with them – in a reported $4million deal – after gaining 70 pounds while pregnant with her daughter Maxwell, but she quit after getting pregnant with her second child, Ace Knute, just seven months after giving birth.
But now, Weight Watchers has revealed it’s been working with her since August.
“We were thrilled to welcome Jessica back on the Weight Watchers program in August,” the company told ET in a statement. “With a toddler on the run and an infant to look after, we know she needs a plan that’s simple and fits into her life along with the support that’s so important to moms with young children.”
Rebel’s Vegas blow-out
Rebel Wilson scored her first ride in a private jet recently (that’s a Twitpic from the flight above), when she was invited to introduce Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, but the organisers didn’t end up getting their money’s worth.
The actress told Jimmy Kimmel Live: “Their management got a copy of my jokes and then I was banned. But the jokes weren’t that bad! It was like, ‘Miley Cyrus got to the top through her raw talent and hard Twerk.’ It wasn’t even that bad!”
Britney ended up introducing Miley. The pair have a duet on Miley’s new album and share the same manager.
J’Law dumbs down
Jennifer Lawrence has filmed a cameo for the Dumb and Dumber sequel, starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.
According to The Hollywood Reporter she spent a day on the set of the movie, playing a young version of Kathleen Turner‘s original character, Fraida Feltcher.
In a recent interview with talk show host Jimmy Fallon, Jennifer confessed the movie was one of her favorite comedies, telling the talk-show host, “I know every word to Dumb and Dumber, Step Brothers and Anchorman.”
Katy’s bedroom antics
Katy Perry has revealed what John Mayer gets up to in bed at night …. and it’s not what you’d have ever expected.
“He literally is a genius, as is evident from his songwriting,” she told Billboard. “I always tell him, ‘Darling, you know I’m going to have to give your mind to science after you’ve passed, because we’re going to have to understand how all these sparks work.'”
She also revealed one of the reasons she thinks he’s so smart? He’s a puzzle master! “We’ll be in bed, and he’ll be doing the crossword puzzle. Every night, he tries to finish it in under 10 minutes. When he puts his mind to something, he really gets it done very well. I always ask for his help.”
She then admitted to suicidal thoughts during the breakup of her marriage to Russell Brand, which she wrote about in her upcoming “By the Grace of God” track. “That song is evident of how tough it really was at a certain point. I asked myself, ‘Do I want to endure? Should I continue living?'” she said. “All the songs are real-life moments. I can only write autobiographically. I put all the evidence in the music. I tell my fans if they want to know the real truth about stuff, just listen to the songs.”
Rachel’s brilliant baby news
Rachael Leigh Cook and husband, Daniel Gillies have welcomed their first child. The actress gave birth to a son last week.
Rachel is currently starring in Perception opposite Eric McCormack. She recently joked to People’s Celebrity Baby Blog: “One of the best things about gestation is that people tell you that you look great, even when it is far from true. That said, I don’t turn down a compliment so thank you!
“I feel a-okay so far. I know that a lot of women have horrendously difficult pregnancies so I am feeling very lucky. (Knock on wood!).”
Darryl reveals autism battle
Darryl Hannah has opened up about living with autism in Hollywood in an interview with People magazine.
The 52-year-old said her autism diagnosis as a child led to a debilitating fear of fame as an adult, which caused her to turn down movie roles and disappear from the screen.
Darryl was diagnosed at a time when the disorder was not widely understood and doctors recommended she be medicated and institutionalized. Her isolation from her peers led her to watch old movies and fuelled her desire to be an actress. She explains that she saw movies as an escape from the real world.
At 17, she moved to Los Angeles and hit the big time with movies such as Splash, but she refused to do talk shows or attend her own movie premieres. “Not because I was above it,” she tells People, “but because I was terrified.”
Josh loves being a daddy
Josh Duhamel has explained why he and Fergie released the photo of baby Axl having his hearing test as the first public glimpse of their bub.
“It was just funny — it wasn’t his cutest photo — but it was very fitting considering who his mother [is],” Duhamel explains. “It looked like he was jammin‘ to music at two days old. And so, that was the photo she wanted to put out first.”
Josh also revealed Fergie is loving being a mum: “She is doing so great. She really is. She is happy. She looks amazing … three weeks ago she gave birth and she looks probably better than she did before.
“I don’t know if it’s because of what she’s been eating or what, she looks really, really great.”
And they’re both obessed with their bub: “We can’t stop staring at him. He’s our little man, we made him together. There’s something you can’t really describe until you go through it. I think any parents out there would understand that … It’s just an incredible time for both of us.”
It’s a GLEE baby!
Glee star Heather Morris gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday and named him Elijah. It’s the first child for Heather and her high school sweetheart partner, Taylor Hubbell.

Anna’s big (messy) boy
The House Bunny star Anna Faris (currently appearing in a new sitcom, Mom, opposite Allison Janney) has shared an adorable picture of her one-year-old, Jack, on Twitter.
She joked: “So awesome my child can feed himself — now I can go back to bed.”
Anna and husband Chris Pratt, 34, welcomed Jack in August 2012, and the proud mum can’t help sharing his milestones. “He does funny things like [mock pouting],” the What’s Your Number? actress told Us Weekly at the Emmy Awards. He’s “giggling” and is really “starting to know things,” she added.
But her favourite new moment? Jack has started to say “Mama!”
Brad & Ange have a family day out – half a world apart
During a break from filming his latest movie, Fury, in England, Brad Pitt has taken his five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne to Windsor to visit Legoland. And he was refreshingly unHollywood about it, lining up and waiting for rides – like the Fairy Tale Brook boat ride – with all the regular visitors.
Meanwhile, half a world away, Angelina Jolie took three of their children, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight Shiloh, seven, on a shopping trip to Bondi Junction shopping centre in Sydney, then the Great Moscow Circus, in Rose Bay.
No word on what Maddox was up to over the weekend …
