Happy birthday to my sister! She’s a special woman who’s having a fabulous year and I’m so thrilled for her. May the next one be every bit as good.
To celebrate the occasion I’ve been digging around in my grandmother’s slide collection. Here are some of the sisterly gems I discovered. Did your mum dress you and your siblings in matching outfits when you were kids? Didn’t you just LOVE it? I think it must have been a 70s thing, it doesn’t really seem to fly these days. Although I did buy the Sprogs matching bikinis once and they were cool with it. But it was a bummer for my sister. Being the youngest, she got to wear the same dress in different sizes season after season …

Yay! Happy Birthday to her! Love the onesies!
Ah, the 70s …
Cute pictures. I only had brothers but mum did get us one matching set of outfits – although in different colours (mainly to cater for my red haired brother who looked better in brown shades whereas me and my other brother could get away with reds). In the black and white photos, we all look the same though.
I quite like defying convention and wearing red.
Good! I bet you also wear blue and green without another colour in between!
Loved this post until “it doesn’t really seem to fly these days”. I may have to stop following you. No matching clothes for the girls? come on. I even considered matching them too this year. http://loulouloves.me/2012/12/04/extreme-christmas/
