I was MOST amused to see the posts from Mariah Carey on how she spent July 4. In Capri. On the Arctic P. With James Packer. And dem babies. And fireworks.
Initially I thought to myself: “How strange that the Isle of Capri celebrates July 4 with fireworks, oh well …”
Until I got to the Instagram post from Mariah that said: “Thank you for the fireworks darling.”
James, bless him, looks about 18 in the photos, so he’s obviously still VERY loved up … and cashed up …
Ah, how the other half lives.

It was captioned: “Pon de boat.”

July 4 is “Independence Day” in the United States, it’s the country’s most significant national holiday. It celebrates the Declaration of Independence, adopted on 4 July, 1776. That’s when the Thirteen Colonies of America declared themselves to be states and no longer part of the British Empire.
