You know how much I love a celebrity selfie, so I was in heaven today as my Instagram feed filled with outrageous snaps from New York’s biggest party of the year. More than 500 celebrities, media mavens and various other movers and shakers descended on the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual Met Gala.
It’s become the biggest fashion event on the Hollywood calendar. Stars take their outfits more seriously than they do for the Oscars.
The theme for this year’s gala was “China: Through the Looking Glass.” But as one fashion follower noted on Twitter: “I think the actual theme of the #MetGala was ‘be as naked as legally possible in public’.”
