Welcome to the HouseGoesHome Celebrity Valentine’s Day edition.
Some of the biggest news of the day is that Christina Aguilera got engaged and Simon Cowell became a dad! Simon tweeted: “Very happy to say Eric was born at 17.45pm. Healthy and handsome. Lauren in great shape. Thanks for all of your kind messages. Named after my dad.”
Hope you had a good one, whether you’d the type to celebrate or, like me, more likely to run a mile, like in this blog post I wrote called Sucking The Romance Out Of Valentine’s Day (which ISN’T about oral action of the raunchy kind … dodgy title now I come to think of it … ah, the benefit of hindsight)

>> Kanye West outdid himself again, filling an entire room with long stem red roses as Kim Kardashian‘s Valentine’s Day gift. She posted a pic of just some of them on Instagram and tweeted: ‘A thousand roses! ‘Nothing better than being with my love on Valentine’s Day! Happy Vday dolls!’
>> Menu Suvari turned 35 the day before Valentine’s and her boyfriend Salvador Sanchez celebrated the double-header by giving her a stunning diamond ring. She was later forced to clarify it wasn’t an engagement ring, writing: ‘#eternityband #notaproposal’
