It’s been a bit of a week so I’m bringing my weekly celeb round-up forward to give my exhausted pscyhe a rest. Here’s a bit of fluff to brighten your (and my) Friday …
>> It’s come to this – Jonas Brothers singer Kevin Jonas announced the birth of his newborn daughter Alena Rose with a tweet sponsored by a washing detergent company. Dreft shared the picture on its Twitter account with the caption ‘On this day, a little star was born. Meet Alena Rose Jonas #babyJonas.’
>> Gwyneth Paltrow paid tribute to actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman who was found dead last Sunday morning following a drug overdose. The actress, who starred with him in The Talented Mr Ripley, posted a snapshot of herself and Jude Law on location with him in Italy. She wrote: ‘Ischia 1998, post dinner, post shooting…Philip was a true genius. #philipseymourhoffman.’
>> LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian put on quite a show while on holidays. She wrote: ‘Happy Hawaii! Yep, another lovey dovey bikini photo #moretocome @ToriPraverSwim’
>> Rebecca Judd, wife of Carlton footballer Chris Judd, welcomed her first child, a daughter called Billie. She shared a pic of the bub on Instagram, captioned: ‘Smitten kitten #billie’
>> Sir Patrick Stewart proved he’s still fighting fit at 73 with this Twitter pic.
The British actor tweeted a picture of himself impressively performing a one-handed push up, with his left hand punching the air in a fist, and a grimace on his face.
>> Kate Ritchie posted a flashback picture of herself at age 14 hugging a then-21-year-old Dannii Minogue at the TV Week Logies. She captioned the snap: ‘Logies voting opens today and so I thought I’d share this flashback to ’92.. Sorry @DanniiMinogue xxx’
>> Josh Duhamel wasn’t a fan of Sunday’s Super Bowl game and tweeted that the match between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos in New York was ‘boring’. He then posted an adorable snap of his five-month-old son Axl yawning, captioned: ‘Finally thoughts on #SB48’
>> The Morning Show host Larry Emdur posted this pic to his Instagram on Monday in celebration of his daughter Tia’s 15th birthday. It was captioned: ‘And all of a sudden our little baby doll was 15.. Happy birthday my smart, funny, beautiful, incredible, awesome Tia. The former Home and Away actress also revealed the trauma of Phoenix’s birth and how she had to undergo an emergency cesarean.
‘Right at the last minute she [the baby] turned the wrong way and the cord wrapped around her neck,’ she told KIISFM’s Kyle & Jackie O Show. ‘The doctor said “There’s no way we’re taking any chances.” It was really dangerous. The doctor said if we lived in a third world country or a different time it could have been very dangerous for me and my child. We were very lucky.’

That means a lot of things,’ Susan told AARP The Magazine. When asked if this included a romantic relationship, Susan responded, ‘Yeah, I think so.’
