It’s funny to spend months admiring someone from afar then find yourself being toasted by them in a bar with prosecco.
Good funny.
In my search for fabulous Aussie bloggers I stumbled across Kerri Sackville’s hilarious writing at Life & Other Crises, many moons ago. She’s one of the funniest women blogging in Oz, I reckon.
She also turns out to be best friends with my soon-to-be-departing workmate/twin, Lana Hirschowitz (aka The Sharpest Pencil), who kindly introduced us.
Lana is researching that faddy fasting diet (purely for work purposes), so she stuck to vodka and Diet Coke (she’s taught me all about social media, I’ve introduced her to vodka and Diet Coke – a pretty fair trade, don’t you think?).
But Kerri shouted me a few proseccos with a side order of prawn dumplings. What a good woman!
And she turned out to be just as entertaining in real life as her blogs.
