Twitter has been on fire over the past few days – celebs are sharing, slamming and sucking up.
Adele goes home with 2 Oscars!
” . . . and we’re home! What an epic trip. Thanks for having us Hollywood!” singer Adele has tweeted, together with a photo of her Oscar for Best Song. And how cute is this – beside the large gold trophy in the snap was a miniature Oscar with “Best Son” written underneath!
Her five-month-old son, whose name has still not been made public, accompanied Adele on the trip. She got very emotional during her Oscar speech when thanking her “man,” saying, “I love you, baby.”
Meanwhile, the singer’s aunt, Anita Adkins, insists fame hasn’t changed her. She told The Sun: “She doesn’t get any special treatment — of course not. Why would she? There’s plenty of nieces, nephews and grandchildren in this family so no one gets any special treatment, I can tell you. They’re all treated the same.
“Adele comes round and she’s still got to go and make her nan a cup of tea, I’m afraid.”
No fued between Anne and Amanda
There’s been another development in the Anne Hathaway Oscar frock saga.
First Anne’s Prada dress sparked it’s very own Twitter address, @HathawayNipple.
Then US magazine wrote a gossip item about Anne throwing a hissy when she realised she and Amanda Seyfried were going to wear similar dresses to the Oscars – the frock Anne intended to wear is above, middle – prompting Anne’s last-minute change from Valentino to Prada.
“‘Anne was like ‘WTF?!’ an observer revealed to US, although she never ordered Seyfried to change her dress plans. Irked by Hathaway’s tantrum, ‘Amanda didn’t want to deal with it and left’ the rehearsal, the source notes.
Anne later apologized, via public statement, for “any disapointment caused” by the last-minute switch. “I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honor of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself.”
And now Amanda has gone on the record – via Twitter – with a veiled suggestion any talk of trouble between the two actresses is false saying: “Fact: I love you, Anne!”
LiLo turns down Charlie
Lindsay Lohan has rejected Charlie Sheen‘s offer to mentor her. Maybe she’s more switched on than we thought.
Sources tell TMZ: “While she appreciates everything Sheen has done for her – and he’s done a lot – she would NEVER take him as a mentor. She’s saying she knows her life is “out of control,” but doesn’t think the precept, “It takes one to know one,” is the way to go.
“She says she’s grateful Charlie gave her $100k for her back taxes and supported her in “Scary Movie 5.” Lindsay says she talks to Charlie from time to time … but gripes he has no business talking about her to the media.
“According to our sources, Lindsay has been regularly meeting with a therapist and feels the consistency has helped.”
Olivia slams Justin
Olivia Wilde is brave woman. She took to Twitter to criticise Justin Bieber and got slammed by his fans.
Justin celebrated his 19th birthday last week in London shirtless and virtually pants-less as well. And Olivia tweeted: “Bieber, put your f@#king shirt on. (unless you lost all your shirts in a fire in which case my condolences and please purchase a new shirt.)”
The backlash included tweets such as: “@oliviawilde r u a lesbian or r u too old”

Justin’s dangerous birthday gift
Meanwhile, to celebrate Justin turning 19, his dad bought him a motorcycle that’s been personalized with Batman logos, some of Justin’s tattoos and the words “35 mil. followers” in honor of his Twitter fans.
Too Fab notes: “It’s kind of a dangerous present to give your own son … especially considering how many times he’s been pulled over for speeding in his car.”
Jamie is not amused
Jamie Lee Curtis has joined the parade of actresses offended by Seth Macfarlane‘s “We saw your boobs” number at the Oscars.
First she tweeted: “Seth MacFarlane and the Oscars’ Hostile, Ugly, Sexist Night”.
Then she wrote an op-ed for Huffington Post saying: “And the Oscar Goes to… Hell,” where she took MacFarlane to task for the misogyny apparent in his Oscar hosting gig, particularly his opening number, “We Saw Your Boobs.”
“I was offended last week. As an Academy member, as the child of former Academy members and as a woman, I expected more from the best that the movie business has to offer,” she wrote. “The Oscars are about honoring art and artists. It is not supposed to be a cheesy vaudeville show…. I am an actress who has bared her breasts in films to satisfy the requirement of the role I was asked to do — lucky to do, for in my case, those films were significant in my career. I didn’t like doing it. I didn’t ask if I could do them topless. I did what was asked of me for the part I was playing. Mostly asked by men.”
Kim and Kayne get private in public
Remember Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s nude cover for the French magazine L’Officiel Hommes (see below if you don’t).
Well, now inside shots from the magazine have been revealed and they’re even more risque. In one photo, Kayne can be seen caressing Kim’s breast.
Notes The Huffington Post: “The 32-year-old reality star has gone on record several times in the last few months claiming she wants to be more “private.” We’ll admit, we’re confused. Is Kim working from a different definition of “private” than the rest of us?”
