Fergie’s pregnancy shock
Josh Duhamel has told the New York Post’s Page Six about the day Fergie discovered they were expecting their first child.
“She was the one when we first found out that was like, ‘This [bleep] just got real. Those were the first words out of her mouth,'” the actor said.
He also discussed his joy at becoming a first-time father. “I’m not 24, I’ve got some life experience that I think I can impart. My mother was the disciplinarian and my father was more of a free spirit. Hopefully I’m somewhere in between.”
Lindsay wants to mentor young girls
Lindsay Lohan is currently in talks to donate her time to Trinity Athletics, a gym that offers scholarships to underprivileged girls so they can learn to be cheerleaders.
In a bid to improve her image before she goes back to court next month, the actress believes she can offer advice to the girls because she too has struggled and overcome so much adversity in her life …
So, how does Trinity Athletics feel about that?
“We have yet to make any arrangements with Ms Lohan about mentoring our girls,” Trinity Athletics owner Cori Davenport told US magazine. “We are very busy at the moment on focusing on our upcoming NCA Nationals and that is our only focus presently. I believe everyone deserves a second chance, and everyone makes mistakes. I applaud Ms. Lohan for wanting to make a difference in people’s lives, especially young girls so they don’t take the same road she has.”
I’m eating my placenta!
Former Playboy model and Hugh Hefner squeeze Holly Madison – who currently stars on a US show called Girls Next Door – has revealed her plans for her placenta after she delivers her baby daughter in the coming days.
“This might sound gross, but I’m totally planning on having my placenta turned into pills I can take after giving birth,” she wrote on her blog.
Sharing clip art of placenta pills – a process involving a woman’s placenta being cleaned, cooked, processed and put into capsules – Holly added: “I heard it helps women recover faster and I want to recover as quickly as I can!”
And January Jones agrees with her
The Mad Men actress has explained to Glamour magazine why she ate her placenta after giving birth to her 17-month-old son Xander.
“It’s not gross or witchcrafty,” she said. “Nor am I putting it in a shake or eating it raw.
“It’s a very civilised thing that can help women with depression or fatigue. I was never depressed or sad or down after the baby was born, so I’d highly suggest it to any pregnant woman.”
The interview was completed before rumours of a fling with Miley Cyrus’ fiance Liam Hemsworth surfaced, but here’s what she had to say about men: “And asked to describe her ideal man, January replied: ‘I don’t really have a type. But someone who is kind is important to me. Someone who I can have a laugh with, someone to trust.”
Not sure about the trust thing if the Liam rumours are true.
Carmen’s adoption plan
Former Baywatch star Carmen Electra has shown off her amazing body, 15 years after the show ended.
Wearing the show’s iconic red swimsuit, she said: “I feel better than I did at 25! Once I got it on, I felt amazing. It was a million times better than I thought it would be.”
The recently single star – who was dating Simon Cowell – has also told In Touch Weekly magazine about her desire to have kids: ‘I’m open to it. Work has been my priority this year but I’m not closed off to the idea of adoption. I love kids.”
“I’d be an encouraging and fun mom. I’d let my kid be who they are but also be a good solid mom. I definitely have an edgy, wild side to me – and I know people are surprised by this – but I can be very traditional too.”
Jennifer loves Photoshop
