Robert’s smiling again
Robert Pattinson side-stepped discussing his romantic hiccups on The Daily Show last night. When the host, Jon Stewart, skirted around the subject of Kristen Stewart breaking his heart, he replied: “My biggest problem is that I don’t have a publicist,” he said. “I’m going to have to hire a publicist.”
However, when the host noted that a breakup sometimes feels like the end of the world for young people, Robert admitted, “It is.”
Afterwards, Robert headed to the after-party for his new movie, Cosmopolis, at the Dream Downtown hotel in New York’s Meatpacking district.
He “looked happy,” one observer told Us Weekly.
“He was friendly and spoke to everyone that said hello. There was no talk of Kristen. He was smiling and laughing a lot.”
Jennifer Aniston’s wedding planner blabs
Kevin Lee, the wedding planner who organised Jennifer Aniston‘s nuptials to Brad Pitt, has speculated about what we can expect when she weds fiancé Justin Theroux.
“She’s such a romantic lady,” he told Celebuzz.
“She’ll want something beautiful.”
He remembers distinct differences in taste at Aniston’s last wedding.
“Brad wanted it modern and more cutting edge. And she wanted it soft, romantic and feminine. So I think she’ll do it like that,” said Lee. “I think she’ll do it big because that’s her personality. It will cost a lot because she’ll want it done right. And she has very good taste. I am so thrilled for her. She deserves to be happy and have a nice husband.”
Rashida apologises for Travolta gay joke
Actress Rashida Jones has apologised for implying that John Travolta should come out of the closet.
Just Jared reports that in an interview with Spinning Platters to promote her new movie Celeste and Jesse Forever, Rashida said she hoped that a major movie star would admit they were gay: “Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this.”
She’s since apologised on her Twitter account: “Made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Nobody’s personal life is my business,” she wrote.
RIP Horshack
Speaking of John Travolta, his Welcome Back Kotter co-star Ron Palillo died on Tuesday morning at his home near Palm Beach, Florida at age 63.
Palillo played Arnold Horshack in the series and appeared with John Travolta from 1975-79.
Princess Kate’s cousin does Playboy shoot
Kate Middleton‘s distant cousin, Katrina Darling, is set to cause a royal stir with her Playboy cover and pictorial in the September issue. Katrina normally works as a burlesque dancer in New York, doing a routine called “God Save The Queen”.
