It was a tough decision. I didn’t feel an emotional connection to any of them. The only thing I wanted to read this morning was the newspaper report on poor Ian Turpie dying. But I couldn’t cop out in my second week, I had to choose one. When I saw the WHO cover on Friday, I thought, nah, that’s not going to win (Heidi Montag? Soooo not my thing). Then I saw all the other covers today and went, oh. I was vaguely tempted by the free bronzer on NW, but the strange, bony women on the cover made me feel ill. And I didn’t really need a bronzer anyway. At one point I walked away, thinking, no, I will save my $5. But then I broke my judging rule and had a bit of a newsstand flick. WHO promised to tell me what Prince Harry was actually up to, plus Demi. And it had a nice page of loafers. So I bought it.
