SEEK emailed me yesterday, suggesting I would be a “strong applicant” for the role of Digital Editor at Woman’s Day.
Oh, the irony.
Fortunately, after spending many years pining for weekly magazines, the only things I miss these days are my former pay check and parking space in the city.
In other exciting news, Tim Minchin sat behind DD on a flight to Melbourne yesterday arvo.

DD reports Tim was reading “When God Was a Rabbit” by Sarah Winman.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you about an amazing walk I did on Sunday at Dobroyd Head. My last visit to the area was during my COVID-19 explorations of rocky outcrops north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Dobroyd Head is near Balgowlah and it’s absolutely gorgeous in spring, filled with wildflowers.

And wildlife! We saw a flock of black cockatoos and a water monitor during our walk.

It’s part of the Spit to Manly Walk and the views of Sydney Harbour are spectacular. I ten out of ten recommend a visit.
Raging insomnia wrecked my sleep again last night, so it’s going to be a looooong day. I’m heading to the office then I’m off to a function till 10pm. May skip blogging tmw.
Song of the day: Alanis Morissette “Ironic”
