How is it Friday already? Where has the week, the month, the year gone?
Well, it’s not a totally bad thing that the month went so fast, as DD was away for all of it on his epic business trip.
I really need to show you some more of his bleisure photos when I get a chance. Iceland looked incredible.
I am very excited by the concept of bleisure and eager for my future to feature lots of it.
In case you’re not familiar with it, bleisure is a term for a hybrid trip that blends business and pleasure. Bleisure travellers typically tack on holiday days after their meetings wrap up, taking advantage of their company paying their airfares.
I’ve impressed upon DD that he can’t be flogging himself on 30-hour flights to and from South America to attended a conference within a seven-day period.
He needs to take me along and extend the trip for the sake of his health …
So altruistic of me …
A little closer to home, my weekend plans include finally checking out the youngest’s campus accommodation … ironically just after she’s given notice. Less than six months into leaving home for university, she’s already moving into a share house.
