Battening down the hatches

Thank you for all your kind messages about my book. It has been lovely to read them all..

I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had the chance to turn all the pages yet.

And things are about to get even more hectic. So I am waving a white flag and pausing the blog for a week.

I have a booze dinner tonight (whiskey) and another one tomorrow (wine) to attend, plus my sister-in-law is coming to stay on Thursday night for the long weekend … and will have to amuse herself for a few hours due to the aforementioned wine event.

I am also on deadline for the new book, plus I am working a 14-hour day on Tuesday – due to doing a shift in the Vivid Sydney control centre. (Modelling my nifty jacket above!)

Throw in two demanding dogs and the ridiculous battle to get my roof leak repaired and something’s gotta give!

So I will see you in a week with tall tales of my wild deeds.

I hope the King’s Birthday treats you well … How weird does it feel to say that? Very!
