Just because it was the Logies last night doesn’t mean the rest of the celebrity world went into hiatus … no, it’s been very busy in La-La Land.

Danni has a muffin top, yeah right

I was all set to write a glowing piece about how amazing Dannii Minogue looks in a bikini – tinged with a hint of bitter envy – after she posted a photo of herself smiling while getting showered by the waterfall on her Instagram account, until the 41-year-old went and blew it.

Dannii captioned the above pic: “#bintm filming. just add Barbados sunset & waterfall.”

“Bintm” stands for Britain & Ireland’s Top Model, her new hosting gig.

Things unravelled for me when I realised she’d posted another shot of herself wearing a black bandeau bikini and written: “#bintm who hates posing by the pool??? #StretchOutTheMuffinTopPose #PickingUpModellingTips.”

When a Twitter follower echoed my astonishment about the “muffin top” claim, Dannii replied: “Ha ha #BikiniPose that conceals it well – I promise! #eatingWayTooMuchAndLovingIt.”

Spare me.

LeAnn hates showing off

Another star who loves a selfie is LeAnn Rimes. The 30-year-old showed off her svelte bod while on a short break in South Beach, Florida. She captioned it: “Good morning from Miami.”

Meanwhile, just in case you were ever feeling inclined to pity LeeAnn for paparazzi intrusions in her life, she later tweeted: “I guess I’ll go for an ocean dip at midnight cause there are at least 30 paparazzi and @kikicaldas has disowned me.”

As Dlisted notes: “How dare the paparazzi continue to stalk LeAnn! They’re vultures circling around a horse carcass in a bikini. Why did they have to show up to the exact address she texted to them a couple of hours before these pictures were taken? Why did they have to stand in the spot she marked on the ground so they’d get clear shots of her? Why did they have to pick up the phone when she called to tell them that she was five seconds away from sticking her ass out for their cameras?”

Russell strikes a pose

Russell Brand posted a far more entertaining selfie on his Twitter account after clearing out his garage.

He announced he was putting together his own fashionable “Found in Garage collection” and modelled a West Ham United jacket, cowboy hat and boots, worn with trendy white underdaks.

 

Halle’s pregnant at 46

Just in case you blinked and missed it … Halle Berry and her fiance Olivier Martinez are having a baby!

People magazine reports that she will give birth in the American fall (Aussie spring).

“I can confirm that Halle and Olivier are expecting a child,” Halle’s rep said.

“Halle is feeling great. It’s a very exciting time,” a source tells PEOPLE. “This happened naturally — everyone is really happy.”

Last year, Halle – who is 46! – confessed her five-year-old daughter Nahla was desperate for a sibling.

“Every night, we do our prayers,” she revealed. “She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.’ And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure. The other one, we’ve got to keep praying on.’”

(Nahla may have to re-adjust her expectations – word is Halle is having a boy.)

 

Gwyneth: I have the butt of a 22-year-old stripper

With her usual modesty …

Gwyneth Paltrow has told reporters at the opening of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson‘s flagship studio in Los Angeles that she received a rather unusual compliment while trying on cossies with a friend.

“I said, ‘You know, this isn’t so bad for 40, right?'” Paltrow mused about her butt. “And [my friend] goes, ‘It’s not so bad for a 22-year-old stripper!'”

Gwyneth puts her stripper butt down to Anderson’s brutal workout regimen “Oh, I knew it would never change!” she said of her rear prior to working out with the celeb trainer. “I had exercised before I had met her … I had done Ashtanga yoga and pilates and I [ran] and I thought I was fit, you know?”

But now she does the workouts every day. “I just sob and then kick and scream and then I just force myself to do it,” she said. “I just got obsessed. When you see results like that, I started following everything she said and she completely transformed my body and I’m so grateful.”

Sounds like torture to me.

Tom’s not a prima donna, noooo

Dlisted writes: “Thanks to Helen for sending in this picture of the delicate and fragile Scientology blossom Tommy Girl [aka Tom Cruise] keeping his thetans warm and toasty at the premiere of Oblivion in Dublin on Wednesday.

“While the nipples of Tommy’s fans turned into chest icicles from standing in the cold, he kept warm by making one of his mortal slaves follow him around with a portable heater. That dude’s “I thought that when I slipped this important badge around my neck I would be doing important work” face says it all.”

Paris reunites with her birth mum

Paris Jackson has been secretly meeting with her estranged birth mother, Debbie Rowe.

Multiple sources connected to both Debbie and Paris have told TMZ that Michael Jackson’s 15-year-old daughter spent a good part of her birthday last Wednesday with Debbie.

“The two just hung out. They’ve gotten really tight.”

Debbie signed her parental rights to Paris away in 2001 when her daughter was three and has had virtually no contact with her since.

TMZ adds: :And, we’re told, Debbie has gone out of her way to keep the meetings on the down-low because she doesn’t want to create an appearance that she’s exploiting their relationship. One source says Debbie could have made a lot of money off the meetings, but wouldn’t even consider it.”

Kim flashes her bump

Kim Kardashian has shared a photo of herself standing in front of a mirror with her top rolled up to expose her nearly six-months-pregnant belly.

She captioned the selfie: “Baby love.”

Gossip mags have been giving Kim a terrible time, calling her “fat” and compared her to Shamu, the killer whale, but Kim has decided to fight back from the criticism and embrace her new figure.

She told E! that she actually likes her bump now that it has officially “popped.”

“I think it’s really cute,” she said. “Now that my belly has popped a little bit, you can really see it, and it’s really, I think, a sexy thing.”

She says boyfriend Kanye West is a fan, too. “He loves it and embraces it,” she gushed. “And he’s helped me to really feel sexy and embrace it.”

Ireland loves her dad

They’ve had their differences in the past, but it’s great to see how strong Alec Baldwin’s relationship with daughter Ireland has become.

The pair had a family lunch together at New York bakery, Momofuku Milk Bar, on Friday and Ireland tweeted a series of gorgeous snaps from the occasion.

If you’ll recall, during Alec’s ugly divorce from Ireland’s mum Kim Basinger, Alec left an angry voicemail to his daughter that was infamously released to the press.

Ireland just 12 when he branded her a “rude, thoughtless little pig”.

The father and daughter were joined by Alec’s new wife Hilaria Thomas, who appeared in one of the shots – below – captioned: “Beautiful mama @hilariabaldwin”
