OK, things are just slightly crazy around here right now. I’ve made the Christmas cake strudel (yes, as weird as it sounds), I’ve made the silverbeet gratin, I’ve made the baked brie in a pastry shell with walnut praline, and I’ve decorated the reindeer cupcakes – above – do you think they’re cute? I got the idea from a clever friend who made reindeer milk arrowroot biscuits for Chrissie last year.
Still to go … cranberry gravy for the turkey sausages and chilli crab dip in a cob.
I’ve wrapped the Secret Santa presents, Husband just got home with my sister’s folding table. I need to crack out the crackers …
Fark! Gotta go.
Wish me luck!

Yum – that all sounds wonderful. And LOVE those reindeer cupcakes – very cute indeed (I’ll be copying)!!
Your reindeer cup cake is brilliant in its simplicity. I attempted something similiar for P1s kindy x-mas bash but it ended up another over-engineered hodge podge.
Very Merry Christmas in July to you. I hope your festivities include mulled wine. That stuff is the goods.
Cheers Mumabulous@mum-abulous.com
Thx Mumabulous! I was worried I’d gone too simple.
Yummo!! Good luck…and Merry Xmas!!
I’m a big Christmas fan and therefore have huge respect for Christmas in July. Those cupcakes are adorable!
Cupcakes look great. Well done! Have a great time tonight. You have certainly put alot of effort in. xxx Israel said now you have really raised the bar for Christmas drinks in December. xxxxx
Ah yes, the other Xmas … I’m thinking the turkey sausages would be perfect!
