The dogs had their eye-wateringly expensive Christmas grooming session yesterday.
I think it was worth it for the laugh it gave me when the groomer sent photos of the doggos in festive costumes against a snowy backdrop.

I was a bit wonky until then due to working on corporate communications materials for the Bondi terrorism incident.
I had to hang up halfway through a Teams meeting in the morning because I was feeling so emotional.
My workmates are dealing with more than me. One was at the surf club when it happened, another has a friend whose partner died.
My tears have dried and been replaced by a dull ache of sadness.
There are more communications to write, so I can’t guarantee today will be smooth sailing.
But it will start with a laugh – my hairdresser has squeezed me in for a 7.15am cut and colour.
Stephen is filled with energy and joy, which will light up my morning.
A strong flat white from my fave Northern Beaches coffee shop will also help.
Still no song of the day.
Hug the ones you love.
