HouseGoesHollywood: Brian weds, Russell gets lost, audience boos Ben

Brian ties the knot

Brian McFadden has tied the knot with Irish DJ Vogue Williams, announcing on Twitter:  ‘I’m getting married today. #justsayin.’

The couple are believed to have married in a romantic ceremony in Florence, Italy, attended by friends and family.

“Florence turn around. Were here! Jersey shore style!’ Brian tweeted on Friday.

Dannii Minogue is believed to have been among the guests. Vogue’s hairdresser, Mark Doyle, told his Twitter followers: “Going to be an amazing wedding with Brian and vogue, hair prep begins in an hour ! Met Danni Minogue last night !’

The ceremony came days after the couple reportedly made their union official at a Dublin registry office in front of a small crowd of friends and family.

After the ceremony, Brian tweeted: ‘I am one happy camper.’

According to The Irish Sun, the couple’s Italian ceremony – taking place at the picturesque medieval castle Castello Di Vincigliata – has been shrouded in secrecy due to a glossy magazine deal.

Brian’s ex-wife Kerry Katona, told OK! magazine she was thrilled that her daughters would be a part of the wedding: ‘My ex Brian is getting married this weekend and Molly and Lilly are bridesmaids. I wish Brian and Vogue all the best, and a lifetime of happiness.’

No word yet on how Delta Goodrem feels about it …

Lana sleeps with dead animals

A little something for my husband … Lana Del Ray is the covergirl for the October issue of Vogue Australia, on sale tomorrow. And despite all those rumoured encounters with Axl Rose and Marilyn Manson, Lana reveals in the accompanying article that the only thing sharing her bed is a dead animal: “I have to sleep alone every night so I have this old mink from Scotland,” she says.

Russell rescued by coast guard

According to People magazine: “Russell Crowe got some help from the U.S. Coast Guard late Saturday night during a kayaking trip gone wrong off of New York’s Long Island.

“The actor, who is in the area filming the new Darren Aronofsky movie, Noah, launched from Cold Spring Harbor Saturday afternoon, U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Robert Swieciki told the Associated Press. When it got dark, he and his friend apparently got lost but managed to make their way to shore, beaching their kayaks in Huntington Bay.

“They were nearly 10 miles east from where they had set out.

“The coast guard was patrolling the area and heard the 48-year-old actor calling out from the shore around 10 p.m. According to Swiecki, the officer did not recognize the actor but paddled over and brought them to Huntington Harbor.”

Russell tweeted at 1.30am: “Thanks to Seth and the boys from the US Coast Guard for guiding the way…4 hrs 30 mins, 7m(11.2km).”

Later, he did the typical blokey thing, insisting he wasn’t lost at all: “We knew where exactly where we were, paddling around from csh into wind, we ran out of day. Grand adventure eh.”

LeAnn’s cyber-bulling anguish

Like Charlotte Dawson, sources close to LeAnn Rhimes have revealed part of the reason she entered a treatment facility was because of cyber-bulling.

LeAnn is attempting to sue two women who she claims illegally tape-recorded her during a phone conversation without her consent.

Says People magazine: “The conversation – which went viral and was still online as of early Thursday evening – has Rimes attempting to keep the peace between herself and a Tweeter who defends Rimes’s husband Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville.”

“There has been this cyber-bullying that has been going on for a considerable period of time,” LeAnn’s attorney Larry Stein told Celebuzz. “These women have been merciless – vitriolic in their attacks … Rimes didn’t like it, but she hoped things would get better.”

A source told People: “The events described in the lawsuit are a part of, but certainly not the only reason LeAnn has sought treatment.”

Tori tweets new baby pics

Since giving birth on August 30, Tori Spelling, has shared two photos of her newborn son, Finn, via Instagram – but neither of them show his face. Presumably because she’s secured a magazine deal for the big reveal.

Tori captioned the shot featuring Finn’s tiny hand wrapped around his mother’s finger with “Finn Makes Four”. In the second image, the actress’ husband, Dean McDermott, 45, cradles his son’s head. “So in love,” Tori wrote.

Harry’s girl – the full monty

Dlisted has all the quotes from the girl who snogged Prince Harry, 32-year-old Carrie Reichert. I so should have run them the first time around, as they are FUNNY.

Here’s what she told The Mirror: “I introduced myself, and right away knew he was completely wasted, very intoxicated. I had to let him know I knew who he was, and that I was born in England and right away he was like ‘Oh my Gosh, that’s amazing! I can’t believe you’re here in Vegas, we could be related’.

And I was like ‘Ah! He likes me!’ He was happy-go-lucky, yeah, just going with the flow. He gave me a huge hug and I introduced myself, and yeah, the party’s going. We both walked back together, and he grabbed my hand and walked back toward his bedroom. I found my way back there with him. We were talking and we had found some similarities and some interests him and I had together. And I was interested of course.

He said that he liked my eyes and was just going on and on about the military. He didn’t make too much sense. There was not very much talking at that time, his clothes were off. I had a bikini on. A string bikini. I had a party dress over that, and that came off. And I just had a bikini. We kissed for 15 to 20 minutes. I am sure somebody stumbled in as there were people going in and out of rooms all the time. We kissed again and he said ‘That was great’. He told me I was beautiful and gorgeous, which was sweet. Then we kind of nonchalantly returned to the party and kept drinking.”

Audience boos Ben Affleck’s new film

The Huffington Post reports: “At the Venice Film Festival premiere of To the WonderTerrence Malick‘s second film to debut in the last 16 months, but only sixth since 1973 – audience members reportedly booed the romantic drama, much to the consternation of some critics in attendance.

“Booing a Terrence Malick film! Wow, almost as courageous and commendable as kicking Gandhi in the face,” wrote Variety critic Justin Chang on Twitter. “Good job, guys.”

The polarized response to Malick’s latest shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. Last week, To The Wonder star Ben Affleck told press at the Telluride Film Festival that Malick’s film “makes Tree of Life look like Transformers.”

Geez, that’s really going to get the crowds in, Ben.

Considering how dreadful I thought The Tree Of Life was … To The Wonder must be quite something.
