I’m boarding the Radiance of The Seas in just a few hours. I’m obscenely excited. I hope my thousands, I mean hundreds … ok, tens (the birthday subscription drive was a bust) of followers will join me – electronically – for the ride. Unlike last time I left the country, when only 12 people checked in on my travels some days. 12. Not bitter, nooooo. I’m wondering if the lack of photos killed traffic. So I’ve had Husband investigating the technical stuff, finding the best way for someone with limited computer skills to upload visuals while on a boat in the middle of the ocean. Hopefully he’s got it sorted. And can explain it to me. Fingers crossed. Yesterday was spent madly packing. Deciding how many pairs of shoes to take, whether two litres of grape juice was an absolute necessity, that sort of thing. I also had my holiday spray tan. When I arrived at my friend’s house for a DIY job in her living room, she got cross that I hadn’t removed my last tan properly. So I ended up naked in her bathroom, while she scrubbed my cellulite with a wet washer. Not as erotic as it sounds, quite humiliating actually. But I look very foreign and glowy now, so I’m happy. The emotional scarring will fade eventually, along with the tan. Catch you on the high seas!

Naked with a friend and a wet washer

I’m sure the tan looks amazing. Makes you feel amazing anyway. Hope you and the family have an amazing time!!!
I think we will!
Bon voyage…literally! 🙂
Thanks Geoff!
I’m so excited for you! I’ll be faithfully following your posts! Lots of photos please!
What would I do without you Rachael?
Hey Rachael, will have limited wi-fi on the trip so may not get the chance to comment on your blog but will read it as much as I can!
thanks!
I think you and Mrs Woog infiltrated my dream last night….Anyways, have obviously voted for you, and you alone. I’ve romanticised cruises ever since Julie and Captain Stubing sailed into my lounge room, and am looking forward to your tales from the high seas 🙂
Awwww thx Zin!
