HouseGoesHollywood: Brady Bunch reunite at their iconic home

Everyone loves a good reunion and here’s a corker for anyone who grew up watching The Brady Bunch like me …

A US TV network is getting ready to film “A Very Brady Renovation” after buying the iconic house that starred in the original series.

HGTV bought the house in August, winning out over seven other bidders, including ‘N Sync member Lance Bass. It was originally listed for $1.885 million. The network ended up paying $3.5 million according to Entertainment Tonight.

Listing agent Ernie Caswell told the Los Angeles Times that consideration was given to buyers who wanted to preserve the home rather than tear it down and build over.

All six “siblings” from The Brady Bunch — Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) — reunited for the first time in 14 years for a pre-remodel tour of the house.

McCormick said she had wanted to buy the place.

“I feel like no one could love it the way I could just because of the memories,” she said.

HGTV will add to the home’s original footprint and plans to remodel the inside to match how the interior appeared on “The Brady Bunch.”

“A Very Brady Renovation” will air in September 2019, around the 50th anniversary of the original Brady Bunch series.

Speaking of reunions, after an on-again, off-again relationship that’s spanned seven years, Meg Ryan, 56, and John Mellencamp, 67, are finally engaged.

In March 2017, Mellencamp discounted the idea of getting back together with the actress, who he said hated him “to death.”

He explained: “I think it’s because I’m a child. I throw fits, I gripe, I complain. I’m moody. Every bad thing that a fella can be, that’s me.”

She’s obviously made her piece with that.

Ryan was previously married to Denis Quaid, while it will be Mellencamp’s fourth wedding.

Apparently, Ryan is also set to star in a TV comedy series next year called Picture Paris.

Josh Brolin and wife Kathryn Boyd welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Westlyn Reign Brolin, the actor announced on Instagram.

“Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce our little girl Westlyn Reign Brolin (Bean),” he wrote. “Mama Kathryn was stellar during this miracle birth and Bean is a flawless gem through and through. We are blessed to the core and appreciate so much the love and support during this pregnancy from ALL who have partaken in our journey, directly and/or indirectly.”

Brolin, 50, has two other children — Eden, 24, and Trevor, 30 — from his first marriage to actress Alice Adair. His second marriage was to actress Diane Lane, with whom he had no children. The latter pair stayed married until 2013.

Brolin is the stepson of Barbra Streisand and jokes that she’s “typical Jewish grandmother,” telling PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly’s Editorial Director Jess Cagle that Streisand got emotional over a special gift Boyd gave her.

“My wife got her a bracelet that said ‘Grandma’ on it and she started crying,” the actor said. “She is one of those … it’s annoying but in a really great way, [with] emails every day and like, ‘Hey, I thought of this name, what do you think of that? … When can I come over and feel the baby?’ “

Brolin also recently shared this amazing underwater shot of himself and his wife pre-birth, photographed by his brother Michael Muller.

Gary “Angry” Anderson is grieving the death of his son Liam, 26, who was attacked by a drug-affected friend he was trying to help.

The tragic end to his life has sent his famous father into a state of “catatonic grief”, The Australian reports.

Matthew Flame has been charged with murder in relation to Liam’s death after being held in custody for more than 24 hours.

Fergie has opened up about remaining close to Prince Andrew more than 22 years after their marriage break up.

“We’re the happiest divorced couple in the world,” she said. “We’re divorced to each other, not from each other.”

Asked if she still loves the Prince she replied: “We both say it. We are completely compatible. Our bywords are communication, compromise and compassion.

“July 23, 1986 was the happiest day of my life. Andrew is the best man I know. What he does for Britain is incredible; no one knows how hard he works for his country.

“My duty is to him. I am so proud of him. I stand by him and always will. The way we are is our fairy tale.

“Although we are not a couple, we really believe in each other. The Yorks are a united family. We’ve shown it. You saw it at the wedding.

“We stand up for each other, fight for each other. We’re totally respectful of each other’s position and thoughts and we listen to each other. Our children listen to us, too.

“And we sit round the table and have afternoon tea together. It’s a very important part of our lives.”

As for whether they will remarry, she said: “So many people have asked me that, but we’re so happy with the way we are right now. We enjoy each other’s company; we allow each other to blossom. I know it sounds like a fairy tale but that’s the way we are.”
