Lady Gaga’s bulimia confession
Lady Gaga shared a photo of herself wearing yellow lingerie on her Little Monsters website yesterday, confessing in the caption: “[I've battled] bulimia and anorexia since I was 15″ “but today I join the body revolution” “to inspire bravery”.
“Hey Guys its Gaga… Now that the body revolution has begun, be brave and post a photo of you that celebrates your triumph over insecurities,” she wrote.
“My mother and I created the BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION for one reason: ‘to inspire bravery.’ This profile is an extension of that dream. Be brave and celebrate with us your ‘perceived flaws,’ as society tells us. May we make our flaws famous, and thus redefine the heinous.”
There’s been much talk in the media about Gaga’s new, curvier figure. She initially slammed the negative attention on Twitter, saying “To all the girls who think you’re ugly because you’re not a size 0, you’re the beautiful ones. It’s society who’s ugly. Thank you to my fans who love me no matter what and know the meaning of real beauty and compassion. I really love you.”
She later admitted in a radio interview that she was on a diet “because I gained, liked, 25 pounds” during her five weeks off between tour dates, but said she didn’t “feel bad about” putting on weight. “Not even for a second.”
“I have to be on such a strict diet constantly. It’s hard because it’s a quite vigorous show, so I tend to bulk up, get muscular, and I really don’t like that. So I’m trying to find a new balance.”
Sounds like she’s found a good way to start.
Joel Madden’s a zombie!
The Walking Dead and American Red Cross have devised a novel way to raise awareness about donating blood – they’ve turned celebrities into zombies for The American Red Cross Zombie Blood Drive campaign. Stars including Joel Madden, Jimmy Smits and Mena Suvari have been given revolting makeovers for a photo shoot.
Warning – I looked at them before breakfast and they turned me off my food. They’re very realistic.

Rihanna’s twitter love for Chris Brown
Rihanna has been tweeting support to Chris Brown in the lead up to his court appearance to determine if he violated the terms of his probation for assaulting her in 2009. Awwww, sweet!
“Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!!
Then four hours later she wrote: “I’m praying for you and wishing u the best today!”
Actually, this makes me sicker than the zombie thing.
Beyonce pregnant again?
Hollywood Life is reporting that Beyonce is pregnant again, just eight months after having Blue Ivy.
“A source close to the A-list couple also told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she is, in fact, expecting!”
However, Dlisted reckons: “Beyonce went to a restaurant in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan a couple of nights ago and if you tilt your head, squint your eyes and try to imagine smelling the scent of sweat gathered under a first trimester baby pillow, you sort of see a bump there…but not really. Beyonce’s probably just clenching her stomach to push out an after-dinner fart.
“Tina Knowles tells Access Hollywood that tabloid reporters shouldn’t run to Tribeca to knock on every apartment door hoping to find a pregnant South American surrogate, because Beyonce’s Tempur-Pedic baby pillows are still hanging in her closet and she’s not pregnant, but “it’s gonna happen when it’s time, but not right now.”
Tina is Beyonce’s mum. Yeah, I didn’t intially make the connection either.
